Michelle Bui discusses her public installation “Filets” in a video by the REM
March 16, 2026
McBride Contemporain is pleased to share a video of Michelle Bui in her studio, recently published by the REM, in which she discusses her permanent public artwork Filets, installed at Station Sainte-Dorothée in Laval.
Filets functions as an archive in constant transformation. Through its capacity to shift and evolve, it invites passersby in the station to reimagine what they see and to drift elsewhere, into a space where the familiar becomes unfamiliar, and the ephemeral takes on a sense of permanence.
