McBride Contemporain is pleased to announce Berirouche Feddal's new solo exhibition ‘Algiers, Capital of the Revolution’ at the Maison de la culture Marie-Uguay.
Curated by Diane Gistal, the exhibition explores the convergences between the social and intellectual movements of the time, in Algeria and around the world. In particular, it highlights the profound links between the liberation struggle, the civil rights movement in the United States and pan-Africanist demands. Feddal offers us a sensitive interpretation of a pivotal moment in the history of the Aurès region.
This exhibition is currently open to the public until 13 October 2024.
