Berirouche Feddal explores a variety of themes through his practice, including African popular culture, African utopia, cultural traces of the mythical and of religion, postcolonial studies, and the indigenization of narratives, as well as experiences related to his own migration. As a transdisciplinary artist, he employs various mediums such as print, photography, woodcut and engraving, and performance to delve into notions of history, identity, and culture. His artistic approach encourages contemplation of the complexity of identity within the diaspora and questioning his own position amid a continually evolving cultural heritage.
