McBride Contemporain is proud to announce that Michelle Bui will be creating a permanent artwork for Sainte-Dorothée Station on the REM. By doing so, her triptych Filets will become part of the Quebec landscape for generations to come.
Through a fluid and organic composition, this work explores the net and its mesh as a metaphor for the body, memory, and the passage of time. Plastic materials and botanical fragments intertwine, transforming the everyday into visual poetry – a tribute to movement, ephemerality, and the traces we leave behind.
