Artwork by Jessica Wee joins University of Toronto Missisauga

McBride Contemporain is pleased to share that Jessica Wee’s painting Peonies (Jambon-beurre) has been acquired by the Office of the Vice President and Principal at the University of Toronto Missisauga.

Drawing from domestic scenes and quotidian moments, Wee’s paintings weave together personal experiences, art historical references and fantasy, often infused with a subtle sense of mystery and playful disruption.
