An artwork by Berirouche Feddal joins the Desjardins Collection

McBride Contemporain is delighted to announce that Berirouche Feddal’s artwork Les tambours résonnent et les drapeaux dansent pour une révolution inachevée (2024) has been acquired by the Desjardins Collection.

Berirouche Feddal explores a variety of themes through his practice, including African popular culture, African utopia, cultural traces of the mythical and of religion, postcolonial studies, and the indigenization of narratives, as well as experiences related to his own migration. His work can also be found in the collections of the Pointe-à-Callière Museum, TD Bank, RBC Collection, Hydro-Québec, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and Global Affairs Canada (Government of Canada).
