Mathieu Lacroix & Beth Frey in Group Exhibition at the Musée d’art de Joliette

Congratulations to Mathieu Lacroix and Beth Frey, whose works are currently on display at the Musée d’art de Joliette as part of a group exhibition curated by Chloë Lum & Yannick Desranleau.

Envers la tyrannie du réel is the fourth iteration of this exhibition. After its presentation at Dazibao in the fall of 2023, the exhibition was shown in 2024 at the FAB Gallery at the University of Alberta under the title We Made This Mostly at Home with Stuff We Already Had in Our Apartment: Prop Performance and Camp in Contemporary Canadian Video Art, then at AXENÉO7 in the winter of 2025.
