McBride Contemporain is delighted to share a new video accompanying Nadine Faraj's exhibition Playing with Fire, which continues until October 19th.
The video features exclusive footage from the Faraj's studio, as well as moments captured during the installation. At the heart of Playing with Fire, Faraj has created a large-scale cave, made entirely of hand-painted paper, echoing caves found around the world. Through this installation, the artist imagines how her ancestors visited and used this fictional space - natural, cultural and charged with powerful Queer and Femme energy.
