Rebecca Munce presented in group exhibition “Shapeshifters” in Lisbon

McBride Contemporain is thrilled to share that artworks by Rebecca Munce have been featured in the exhibition Shapeshifters, organized by P28 – Associação para o Desenvolvimento Criativo e Artístico. The project is divided into two nearly simultaneous exhibitions, featuring different works on display at the Galeria do Pavilhão 31 at Júlio de Matos Hospital and at UCCLA – União das Cidades Capitais de Língua Portuguesa, both in Lisbon.

The opening at the Galeria do Pavilhão 31 at Júlio de Matos Hospital will take place on May 19 at 6:00 p.m., and at UCCLA on May 27 at 6:30 p.m.

Together, the exhibitions challenge the ontological boundaries among beings, helping to dissolve the artificial divisions separating humans from nature, as well as distinctions between living beings, genders, communities, ethnic groups, and nations.
