Rebecca Munce: A solo exhibition at DRAC Art Actuel Drummondville
March 19, 2022 McBride Contemporary is delighted to announce Midnight Maps, a solo exhibition by Rebecca Munce presented at the DRAC art center located in Drummondville, Quebec. This show opens a window onto Munce's intense and imaginative, colourful world through two recent series of works: reductive oil drawings on paper, and two-dimensional and sculptural ceramics. She will be debuting the ceramic pieces, which belong to a brand new body of work created at the Rozynski Art Centre in the winter of 2022. Read more -
Jim Holyoak: A solo exhibition at View Gallery, Nanaimo
February 17, 2022 McBride Contemporain is thrilled to promote Arborescence, Jim Holyoak's first exhibition in Nanaimo, BC, presented at View Gallery. The artist is exhibiting two ink paintings on this occasion, depicting dense and luxurious forest environments. These in-situ drawings, which the artist has long been well known for, cover nearly one hundred fourteen feet of the gallery walls. This impressive layout is paired with one hundred smaller drawings, and an environmental sound piece. Read more
